Thermalami® Film (Gloss & Matt laminating, Embossing and Transfer coating)

 

 

VTGMP installed a new Co-Extrusion line in the year 2003 at the cost of $10million to develop new technology for BOPP/ NYLON® thermal laminating film. The Co-extruder is the world's biggest line with a width of 2.2m(90”) and 470m(1,500") with a capacity for producing BOPP/NYLON® thermal laminating film of 903,000 sq.meters a day and 27,090,000 sq.meters a month. VTGMP can produce 746 tons of thermalami film from this new line and we have 7 additional lines for more capacity. This new line produces a 5-layer film, which is 3-layer co-extrusion film with a 2 layer base film. Therefore, VTGMP has added strength to the BOPP / NYLON® film producing the world's first Co-extrusion for Hi￾Bond Copolymer and EVA for strong adhesion to BOPP / NYLON® base film with EVA, which will not stick to each other. VTGMP offers "GMP Thermalami® System" for single side lamination on the developping of BOPP as a POLYNEX® and NYLON® base film as a NYLONEX® utilizing 

Co-Extrusion coating technology. Especially, NYLONEX® Thermal Film is ideal for book covers that require a high quality, lay flat finish with non-curling properties. NYLONEX® Supermelt Thermal Film utilizes supermelt adhesive technology offering aggressive superior adhesive for difficult to stick to substrate.
